Two people injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 30

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 30 at Little Brennan Road Friday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Dennis Toole of House Springs was driving a Ford F-150 pick-up east on Highway 30 and came to a stop in the road, yielding to a patrol vehicle with the emegency lights activated. Meanwhile, a Honda Pilot driven by 75-year-old Lawrence Zager of High Ridge failed to maintain a proper lookout and rear-ended Toole’s vehicle. Both Toole and Zager were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. The accident took place around 9:40 Friday morning.
