Two people injured in two vehicle accident on HWY 141

A two vehicle acident sent a St. Louis woman to the hospital on Saturday. The Highway Patrol reports that 21 year old Maryland Heights resident, Morghen Bell was traveling Southbound on Highway 141 at 13th Street when he failed to stop at a red traffic signal, and was struck in the front by a vehicle driven by 69 year old St Louis resident Chau Lam, who was attempting to turn left on to Northbound 141 on a red signal as well. After the impact, Morghen Bell fled the scene driving South. Lam was taken by ambulance to Mercy South with moderate injuries. The accident happened on Saturday afternoon at 2:20 pm.
