Two People Seriously Injured in St. Francois County Crash

(Bonne Terre) Two people were seriously injured in a one vehicle accident Thursday in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 47 at Airport Road when a Hyundai Elantra driven by 21-year-old Courtnee Givens of Pevely failed to yield to an emergency vehicle, Givens overcorrected, causing her car to run off the road and strike several trees.
Givens and her passenger, 23-year-old Trenton Allen of Tiff received serious injuries.
Both were flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
