(St. Louis, Mo.) Two teenagers from Fenton and a woman from High Ridge were injured in a two-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place on Highway 30 at Valley Dell Drive when a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 45-year-old Joey Taylor of High Ridge slowed for a steady red traffic signal.

A Dodge Ram driven by 19-year-old Kyle Murphey of Fenton was traveling behind the Tahoe and failed to notice the slowing vehicle which resulted in the Ram striking the rear of the Tahoe.

Taylor sustained moderate injuries and her passenger, a 10-year-old male juvenile, sustained minor injuries.

Murphey sustained serious injuries and his passenger, 18-year-old Madisson Howell of Fenton, sustained moderate injuries.

All four individuals involved in the crash were taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
