(Fredericktown) Two Fredericktown teenagers were injured just after midnight early Friday morning after a two vehicle accident in Madison County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 72 at Lincoln Drive in Fredericktown when a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Clyde Satterfield of Perryville failed to stop for a vehicle at a stop sign making a left turn driven by 18-year-old Braydin Mullins.

Satterfield’s vehicle then struck Mullin’s vehicle. Mullins received moderate injuries and a 15-year-old juvenile received minor injuries.

They were taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

The highway patrol also charged Satterfield with a felony D.W.I. causing physical injury and a traffic charge of failing to stop at a stop sign.
