Undefeated Steelville Boys Head To West County For Exciting Matchup On J98

(Leadwood) The West County boys are hosting Steelville Wednesday night and we’ll have the call on J98.

Steelville is on a roll with a perfect 6-0 record this year and ranked 6th in Class Three. The Cardinals beat Potosi in the championship of the Sullivan tournament a couple of weeks ago.

West County is 4-2 with a loss to South Iron in the A.V. Thanksgiving Tournament championship and three point loss to Pacific that came in the final seconds of their first game of the season.

West County coach Chris Labruyere has gotten to watch Steelville a couple of times this season…

For West County, this will be just their third game in 20 days. Labruyere says it’s been hard to find a rhythm over that time…
