Unexpected and Unfortunate Events Turn Positive for Central-Windsor Football Programs as the Two Battle Tonight

(IMPERIAL) Two weeks ago, the Windsor football Owls found out that their Homecoming Night opponent, Lift for Life Academy, wasn’t going to be able to play due to a scheduling conflict. That left a vacancy on the schedule and also stripped away a chance for the seniors to get a true send-off.
But things changed when the Central Rebels were informed earlier this week by Confluence Prep Academy that they would be unable to play their scheduled match-up. So, no opponent for Windsor and no opponent for Central…perfect!
Here’s Owls head coach Alex DeMatteis on the whole situation.
At the time of the absence of a Homecoming game, the Windsor School District went ahead and planned a Spirit Night for tonight Friday, which they plan on still having.
The Windsor Owls are 2-1 this season and the Central Rebels are 1-2. Again, kick-off at Windsor High School is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. tonight.
