Valle Catholic Baseball Looking to Take Extra Step

The Valle Catholic Warriors had a very successful season, finishing the year with one of the highest win totals in the state of Missouri, finishing at 29-5.  Their season, however, was cut short via a District Tournament defeat to the West County Bulldogs.  Manager Nathan Gegg says those bad circumstances getting into his players’ heads is something he’s looking to avoid this year.

Ryan Fallert, Valle Catholic’s starting center fielder and leadoff hitter, along with utility man and pitcher Grant Fallert both return, as well as catcher Alex Viox and first baseman and twin brother of Alex, Isaac Viox.  Coach Nathan Gegg says with 19 juniors and seniors on the team, position battles still remain with Opening Day just around the corner.

Valle Catholic will open their season Friday at home against the Greenville Bears.
