Valle Catholic Baseball Season Preview

(Ste. Genevieve) Spring begins this weekend which means it’s time for baseball to return. The Valle Catholic Warriors have been hard at work in an attempt to repeat as district champions after going 28-5 last year. Head coach Nate Gegg says his guys have been hitting the weight room.

The Warriors will have many familiar faces back. Among them are six seniors including Mizzou commit Aiden Heberlie and Josh Bieser and eight juniors including Dream Teamer Chase Fallert. Gegg tells us about the returning starters.

As far as pitching goes, Gegg says they’re still trying to figure out what the rotation will look like.

While some of the kids may be locked in as starters, Gegg says the roster is deep and anyone can compete for playing time.

Valle Catholic will open their season this Friday against DeSoto.
