Valle Catholic Ran Ste. Genevieve Football Out of Town Tonight on J98

(Ste. Genevieve) The Battle of Ste. Genevieve was a one-sided affair tonight on J98 as the Valle Catholic Warriors topped the Ste. Genevieve Dragons by a final score of 42-7.

Valle received the opening kickoff and two plays later found the end zone on a 60-yard connection from Chase Fallert to Aiden Heberlie.

The offense was just getting started for Valle as they kept pouring it on in the first half. Already up 20-0, the Warriors set up a screen to Cory Stoll and Fallert put the ball right on the money.

Midway through the second quarter, the Valle starters had a chance to put their final points on the board as Stoll found pay dirt once again.

Fallert and Stoll were named the Applebee’s of Farmington Players of the Game.

Fallert finished the game 12-of-16 for 281 yards and three passing touchdowns while adding eight carries for 25 yards on the ground.

Stoll had 39 yards on 10 carries and two rushing touchdowns to go along with one reception for nine yards and a receiving touchdown.

Heberlie earned an honorable mention with four catches for 124 yards and a touchdown.

Valle finished off the scoring with a five-yard touchdown run by Bryce Giesler to go up 42-0 at halftime.

Ste. Gen finally got into the end zone on their final drive of the game thanks to an 11-yard touchdown run by Kaden Flye.

Valle head coach Judd Naeger says he was pleased with his team’s performance on both sides of the ball.

Ste. Genevieve head coach Ken Weik says Valle brought it to them tonight.

Valle Catholic improves to 2-0 and will next be at home against the St. Vincent Indians.

Ste. Genevieve falls to 0-2 and will next be on the road against the Kennett Indians.
