Valle Catholic Travels to West County in a Boys/Girls Doubleheader Tonight on the MyMoInfo SportsStream

(Park Hills, Mo.) A crucial MAAA small-school division doubleheader comes your way on the MyMoInfo SportsStream tonight as the Valle Catholic Warriors visit the West County Bulldogs.

The Warrior girls are just 5-6 to start the season after winning a district championship last year, but Valle started conference play 1-0 with a win over Valley of Caledonia on Tuesday night. Head coach Davis Grigaitis says Valle Catholic’s figuring it out after facing tough opponents early in the season.

West County is 7-2 and has won 4 straight. Bulldogs head coach Bobby Simily says he expects the Warriors to come ready to play.

In the boys game, Valle Catholic will look to snap a 3-game losing skid and improve on a 6-5 start. Warriors head coach Tyler Search says they will have to keep the Bulldogs’ shooters in check tonight.

West County has also lost 3 in a row to fall to 2-7. Bulldogs head coach Chris LaBruyere says Valle will be a tough challenge with a roster comprised of players who know how to win.

The boys game will count for conference play, while the girls will play a game that counts in the MAAA standings on January 20th.

Coverage starts at 5:45 this evening with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show on the MyMoInfo SportsStream.
