(Caledonia) Spring training is underway right now for high school baseball teams.

The season gets underway later this month.

A team from the M-Triple-A Conference to watch this season is the Valley Vikings who play their home games in Caledonia.

Coach Trent Hartley is liking what he’s seeing so far.

The coach says his Vikings can swing the bat pretty well too.

And the Valley Vikings just so happen to begin their baseball season in Cadet against those Kingston Cougars on Monday afternoon, March 21st at 4 o’clock.

The Vikings have two more games opening week.

The home opener in Caledonia is Wednesday the 23rd at 4:30 against Steelville.

Valley will finish the opening week of baseball season in Lesterville when they play the Bearcats on Thursday the 24th at 4:30.
