Veteran World of Outlaw Racer Gearing Up for Two Wins This Weekend at I-55 Raceway in Pevely

(Pevely, Mo.) It’s a doubleheader of the best sprint car drivers in the world this weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely.

It’s the World of Outlaws Drydene Double Down Invitational tonight and Saturday night at the third of a mile high-banked oval.

The pandemic hit after just three races began the season and since then, only one race has taken place with no fans.

A limited number of fans will be allowed to watch live racing this weekend at the track.

Daryn Pittman took the World of Outlaws championship in 2013 and this year, he sits in third place with three top 5’s out of 4 races.

He’s ready to get back to racing.

We asked the veteran racer of 23 years in a World of Outlaws sprint car why he enjoys the I-55 Raceway so much.

There are no more limited tickets available for this weekend’s races but you can watch them live at dirtvision.com.

Coverage will start at 6 tonight and Saturday night.

It’s 6-thousand dollars to win for tonight’s race and 20-thousand to win for Saturday night’s World of Outlaws race at Pevely.
