Veteran’s Day Ceremony In Farmington

(Farmington) There was a nice crowd on hand Saturday in downtown Farmington for a Veteran’s Day Ceremony. The keynote speaker was State Representative Mike Henderson of Desloge. He says he has a special connection with those who served in the military.

Henderson says veterans deserve a lot of credit for what they’ve done for our country.

The representative also had this special message for veterans.

Henderson also read three proclamations honoring area veterans for their service. Honored were Joseph Young of Farmington who served in the Army during the Korean War, James Clark, who was a member of both the Air Force and Army and Leroy Wade, who served in the U.S. Navy. Saturdays ceremony was held by the St. Francois County Courthouse in Farmington.
