Veterans Health and Benefits Fair returns in May

(Festus) There will be another Health and Benefits Fair for military veterans coming up next month. Klint Oldham with the AmVets Post 171 in Festus-Crystal City is one of the organizers of the bi-yearly event. He says these events have helped people from all over the area.

Oldham says some recent changes at the federal level that could help veterans even more than they could before.

There will be some giveaways for those in attendance and health screenings for those that come out. The Veterans Health and Benefits Fair will be held from 11 AM until 3 PM on Saturday, May 6th at the Festus VFW Post 3777. All veterans need to bring a copy of their DD214 form.
