VFW Day Of Service To Be Held In High Ridge On Saturday, May 6th

(High Ridge) A few years ago, the Veterans of Foreign Wars began a campaign known as the V.F.W. Day of Service. This year, two posts in the listening area will jointly host an event. Randy Tolliver is the VFW District 8 Representative. He says this event is Saturday, May 6th.

There will also be a kids zone and Wonder Woman will visit to do some finger painting and other activities. Tolliver says there is no fee to attend, however, donations will happily be accepted.

The Salty Medic Food Truck will be on hand as wall as service officers to assist veterans in filing claims. Tolliver tells us who to call if you would like more information on this V.F.W. Day of Service.

The Day of Service is Saturday, May 6th at 2200 Gravois Road in High Ridge. It’ll go from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a band performing on the Post lawn after the activities end.
