Wappapello Man Injured in Wayne County Crash

(Wappapello) A man from Wappapello was injured Monday afternoon in a one vehicle accident in Wayne County.
The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on ‘D’ Highway at People’s Creek in Wappapello when a Subaru Forrester driven by 33-year-old Dustin C. Williams ran off the road and struck a tree.
Williams received moderate injuries and had to be flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
