Washington County Airport Keeps Improving

(Washington CO) The Washington County Airport continues to improve and upgrade because of some Federal Aviation Administration rules that they are not in compliance with. Sam Rhodes, the airport board president says the improvements will help the community. The port sat under used for the last few years and Rhodes wants to increase the commercial and business use of the site. Rhodes says they had to move a plane hanger that was in the runway protection zone.

The entrance needed to be moved also to put it in compliance with FAA rules.
