Washington County Car Crash Injures Two

(Washington County) A car crash in Washington County Tuesday morning sent two people to the hospital. 78-year-old Wesley Williams of Hillsboro was eastbound on Route ‘E’ in his 2017 Chevy Colorado when he attempted to cross over Route ‘C-C’ but a construction sign was obstructing the stop sign at the intersection. A southbound 2006 Chevy 2500 driven by 30-year-old Bryan Walther of Blackwell struck the right side of Williams’ vehicle, sending both cars off the road. Walther wasn’t injured, but Williams and an occupant, 73-year-old Mary Williams of Hillsboro, suffered minor and moderate injuries, respectively, and both were taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
