Wayne County Municipal Election Wrap Up

(Wayne County, Mo.) All the votes have been counted for the Wayne county June 2nd election, here are the results.

Sandy Crites Joy defeated Lee Hillis in the mayoral race, in Williamsville, 90 votes to 19. Two spots were up for grabs for the city of Williamsville Alderman at-large two year term position, with Gene Bilbrey (58) and Helen Edwards (46) winning the election, defeating Sharon Eudailey (34), John Dale Sanders (25) and Rose Goebel (12). The Williamsville Alderman at-large one year term went to James Pollard (50) taking down Ruby Prewitt (38) and Lisa Hillis (18).

The Clearwater school board race had a big turnout, as it crosses over with Reynolds and Madison counties. Incumbent James Seal collected the largest number of votes with 306, incumbent Jason Street earned 211 with the final spot going to Tylar Pinkley with 195 votes. Kyle Allen collected 191 votes, Eric Reynolds had 147 and Scott Chadbourne had 135.
