West County Ace Dakota Dowd Signs with Mineral Area College Baseball

(Park Hills, Mo.) After being the ace of the West County Bulldogs’ pitching staff over the past few seasons, Dakota Dowd has signed to continue his playing career collegiately with the Mineral Area College baseball team.

He says he chose to play at MAC because of the benefits both athletically and academically.

Having brought home three straight District Championships for the West County baseball team, Dowd says he will always be a Bulldog.

Bobby Simily just took over as head coach of the West County baseball team but has been a long-time assistant coach with the program.

He says Dowd brings a great skill set to the MAC pitching staff.

Dowd finished his career with the West County baseball team as a two-time All-Conference and All-District player and was named All-State following the 2019 season.
