(Leadwood) An early season conference matchup is the highlight of our coverage of high school basketball on J98 Thursday evening. The West County Lady Bulldogs are hosting the Fredericktown Blackcats in a battle between MAAA conference teams.

Class Three 6th ranked West County is 7-1 on the year with their only loss coming against Lincoln College Prep this past Sunday morning in a game that started at 4 a.m. in Springfield. West County has won every other game by at least 11 points.
