West County Boys Fall in Class 3 Quarters

(Farmington) The West County Bulldogs finally found a second half deficit they couldn’t overcome. After two 4th quarter double digit comebacks in the postseason West County fell to 4th ranked New Madrid County Central 71-38 in the Class 3 Quarterfinal at the Farmington Civic Center on J-98. New Madrid turned the Bulldogs over early and took a double digit lead at 17-7. The Bulldogs stalwart post player Chasten Horton was never able to establish a rhythm with four first half fouls. Even so the Bulldogs hallmark tenacity showed up as they never quit. Ty Harlow bombed in five threes to keep West County within shouting distance in first half…
