West County Girls Basketball Gets District Play Started with Greenville

(Park Hills) The West County girls basketball team hasn’t played someone other than themselves since February 2nd when they beat DeSoto 47-20. Tonight, they’ll gear up to host Greenville in the Class 3 District 3 semifinals on the MyMoInfo SportStream. The Lady Bulldogs enter the contest at 17-3 on the season and went 8-1 from January 12th to February 2nd, their last game played. West County head coach Bobby Simily says he doesn’t know a ton about the Greenville Lady Bears, but does notice a few things.

The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Bears have played two like opponents in Grandview and Lesterville, both of which they each beat. Coach Simily says that even with three weeks off, his team is going to be ready to play.
