West County Hires Arnold As New Girls’ Basketball Coach

(LEADWOOD, Mo.) – West County High School has a new girls basketball head coach. The school has hired Joe Arnold to take over the program starting next winter. Arnold was most recently a girls basketball assistant coach for Farmington. He also spent some time coaching at North County. Arnold has been coaching basketball for around 30 years and says this new opportunity to coach the Bulldogs was one he couldn’t pass up.
Arnold says he’s ready to start getting acclimated with a promising group of returning players.
Arnold replaces Chris Brewer, who earned over 200 wins over 14 seasons at West County. Last season, the Bulldogs finished 17-8 overall.
