West County Meets Saxony Lutheran in Girls Class 3 District 2 Championship

(Fredericktown, Mo.) The Class 3 District 2 girls championship is set as the #1 seed Crusaders of Saxony Lutheran will meet the #2 seed Lady Bulldogs of West County tomorrow night on J98. Saxony Lutheran has solidified its dynasty by winning 7 straight district titles and head coach of West County Bobby Simily says taking care of the ball will be key.

West County hasn’t won a district title since 2012 when they played Saxony Lutheran for the first time in school history. Coach Simily says his team has already made him proud this season and district title would make it that much better.

The #1 Saxony Lutheran Crusaders are 16-11 on the season while the #2 West County Lady Bulldogs are 20-6. Coverage of the Class 3 District 2 championship will be on J98 starting at 5:45 with the Flieg’s Equipment pregame show tomorrow night.
