(LEADWOOD, Mo.) – After making the switch to the fall softball season, the West County Bulldogs are posed to continue their success from the spring. West County finished 18-5 and won its fifth-consecutive district title earlier this year. Coach C.J. Wright said this new season will allow the team to get one of its best players back from injury.

Wright said he’s also excited about getting back senior Haylee Watson.

Wright said Meinershagen and Watson aren’t the only ones expected to contribute to this year’s team.

The West County Bulldogs will begin their fall softball season Aug. 31 at the Cape Notre Dame tournament.
