West County’s Alivia Simily Shines For Lady Bulldogs, Ends Season On Dream Team

(Leadwood) West County junior Alivia Simily helped her team get to the State Semifinals for the first time in school history and, in turn, was voted onto the Regional Radio Winter Dream Team. The Lady bulldogs ended up finishing 4th in the state in Class 3 but Simily says she won’t forget her time in Springfield.

Speaking of the community support, Simily says she is still feeling the love.

Simily was the point guard for West County and did a little bit of everything. The junior averaged 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals per game.

Alivia isn’t the only Simily on the Dream Team. Her coach, and father, Bobby was named the Girls Basketball Coach of the Year. She thinks he was very deserving of that honor.

West County finished their historic season with a record of 24-6.
