West County’s Simily Our Applebees of Farmington Athlete of the Week

(Frankclay) The West County Bulldogs track team consists of six members, four girls and two boys. West County doesn’t have their own track or equipment, so they bus to Potosi during the season for their workouts. That didn’t stop senior Alivia Simily from excelling. After her sensational sectional meet Simily is our Applebees of Farmington Athlete of the Week. Simily placed 2nd in the Long Jump with a pesonal best jump of 17 feet 4 inches. She then moved on to the High Jump placing 2nd with a jump of 4 feet 11 inches. Her last event of the day was the Triple Jump. She won it with a jump of 35 feet 4.5 inches. Alivia will participate in both basketball and track next year at the St. Louis School of Pharmacy.
