West County’s Simily Selected to Baseball Dream Team

(FRANKCLAY, Mo.) – After his West County Bulldogs made it to the Class 3 state quarterfinals in the 2018 season, junior Ty Simily made the Regional Radio Baseball Dream Team. Simily hit with a .470 average this year and drove in 25 runs while earning Class 3 first team All-State honors. He said he felt much better mentally this year.

Simily said the experiences from his team’s state tournament runs will help he and his teammates reach their final goal.

Simily said he doesn’t want to take his upcoming senior season for granted.

West County finished 17-5 this season, making it to the state quarterfinals where they were eliminated by eventual state champion Malden.
