Windsor boys’ soccer making changes in 2021

The Windsor Owls will be entering a new era of boys’ soccer this season.

Mike Alvarado takes over as head coach after guiding the junior-varsity program for the last 4 years.

He says the adjustment period has been tempered thanks to his veteran players.

After going just 3-15 last year, Windsor will look to seniors Alex Julian, Jayden Broderick and Haki Niksic to lead the way to more winning in the midfield.

But Alvarado says the biggest key to success will be returning starting goalkeeper Andrew Tanner.

So, with a bevy of experience in tow, Alvarado believes his squad can put last year’s disappointment behind them.

Windsor will start the 2021 boys’ soccer season by hosting their annual tournament beginning August 30th.
