Windsor Girl’s Soccer Ends 2019 Season at Class 3 Sectionals, Bright Future Ahead

(IMPERIAL) The Windsor Owls girl’s soccer team fell 2-1 to Cape Central in the Class 3 Sectionals on Tuesday, ending their season with an 11-13 record and a Class 3 District 2 championship.

Head coach Mike Hutchison says that his girls came really close to tying the game up late.

One of the biggest reasons for Windsor’s success this season was 4-year varsity starter Keri Voegtle, who coach Hutchison agrees is just outstanding in every which way.

The Owls are set up for an excellent 2020 campaign with their top two goalscorers and points-getters returning in Jordan Kolinski and Maddie Gillick.

Other impactful returners for the Owls next season are Bailey Peters, Alyssa Weisner, Kaylee Kreup, Riley Siegel, Symphony Schodroski, and goalkeeper Piper Montgomery.
