Windsor takes on Fox in boys’ hoops on KJFF

(Arnold) High school basketball returns to KJFF Wednesday when the Windsor Owls visit the Fox Warriors.

These 2 teams are heading in opposite directions.

While Fox is still trying to find its footing, Windsor is 7-4.

Despite not playing any games over the holidays, Owls head coach Ryan McArthy believes his team continues to make strides.

The Owls are lead by 3 players averaging double-figure points per game.

Junior guard Max Hartmann can be a shooting sensation and is averaging 12 points a game, while sophomore forward AJ Patrick has become a force in the paint with almost 11 points, 5 rebounds and a blocked shot per contest.

Add in a precocious point guard in sophomore Brenton Shirk, and McArthy feels like he’s seen enough to know this team can be special.

Despite senior guard Brendan Moss pouring in better than 20 points per game, Fox is 3-8 and has lost four of its last five.

The Owls have won 3 straight against the Warriors.

Windsor faces Fox Wednesday evening with coverage starting at 6:45 on AM 1400 KJFF.
