Windsor to begin school year to begin with hybrid schedule

(Imperial) The Windsor C-1 School District will begin the 2020-21 school year on a hybrid schedule. The district will split their student numbers in half with one set having in-school classes on Monday’s and Tuesday’s, and the other half going on Thursday’s and Friday’s. Wednesday will be a virtual day for all students. Windsor Superintendent Dr. Joel Holland says the split will depend on the students’ last names.

Dr. Holland says they have had some students test positive for Covid-19 when their athletic practices began last week.

Windsor is offering a virtual option for students as well. The Windsor hybrid schedule is technically temporary as they hope to go back to a normal five-day in-class school week after Labor Day. However, if positive numbers continue to rise, the hybrid schedule may continue longer.
