(IMPERIAL) Windsor has hired its 2nd wrestling head coach in program history with the promotion of three-year assistant and former Owls wrestler Ryan Bollinger. Bollinger wrestled under recently retired head man and program starter Kevin Stoffey back in 2003.

Bollinger and Stoffey’s history goes even further back.

As a first-time head coach, Bollinger will certainly fall back on Stoffey’s advice, but Bollinger has his vision for what Windsor wrestling will be while he’s leading the program.

Despite 2017 state champion Jacob Warren and 2018 undefeated state champion Ryan Yarnell leaving the Owls, Bollinger likes the guys he has coming back.

Windsor’s dual record in its 23rd season under Stoffey was 11-5. With six wrestlers qualifying for state and three of them placing 4th or better, Windsor was voted the 2018 St. Louis Officials Association Class 3 Team of the Year.
