Windsor’s Beard Shines On Mound, Earns Dream Team Spot

(IMPERIAL, Mo.) – Following a senior season where he put up monster pitching numbers, Chase Beard of the Windsor Owls baseball team earned a spot on the Regional Radio Dream Team. Beard finished with a 7-1 record and an ERA of 0.18 and struck out 56 batters in 39 innings. He said pitching in his senior season felt special to him.
He said some adjustments in his game took him to another level this year.
Beard will get a chance to show what he can do at the college level next year when he joins the baseball program at St. Charles Community College. He said he’s already made a great connection with the head coach there.
Beard said he plans to major in business when he gets to college.
