(IMPERIAL) Windsor girls soccer Dream Team athlete Keri Veogtle turned in a junior season where her defense was seemingly ironclad at times, grabbing the attention of many coaches from the Regional Radio listening area.

Her tough and gritty style of play earned her several accolades, but making Dream Team is something she didn’t expect.

That’s Owls head coach Mike Hutchison who remarked that Voegtle, “marks the opponents’ best forward and does a great job anchoring our defense.”

Voegtle has plans for the next several months to become a better player ahead of her senior season.

Voegtle scored 2 goals and assisted on 3 others as a defenseman for Windsor.

The Jefferson County Activities Association voted her All-Conference First Team and she was recently voted on the All-State Second Team by the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association. Before those two accomplishments, Voegtle earned First Team All-District and All-Regional honors.
