Winkelman to teach at Crystal City High School

(Crystal City) After spending many years in the print media industry, John Winkelman is making the move to the classroom. The Crystal City resident has left Liguori Publications and will become an English teacher at Crystal City High School on a part-time basis. Winkelman says he’s looking forward to the new position.

Winkelman is the host of the Scenic View on KJFF. He spent many years with the Suburban Journals and was also the media contact for Mercy Hospital Jefferson prior to working for Liguori. He still writes an outdoor column in the Leader. He wants to continue hosting the Scenic View on KJFF which will likely happen on select Monday mornings in the future.
