Winterfest in Festus will bring back the skating rink

(Festus) Winterfest in Festus is less than a month away, and with that comes back an activity that was not there last year. The synthetic ice rink was not a part of the line-up in 2022 but will be back this time around. Barb Lowry is the Director of Tourism and Recreation for the City of Festus. She says a lot of people were disappointed it was not there last year, so it’s back.

Lowry says while the skating rink is not real ice, visitors can still have a lot of fun.

Winterfest will once again begin with the Breakfast with Santa on the morning of December 2nd.

There will be craft vendors, inflatables, a bounce house, food vendors, balloon twisters, face painters, a petting zoo, and photo opportunities. Plus the Santa House will be open from Noon to 6 that day. Winterfest in Festus takes place from 10 AM until 6 PM on Saturday, December 2nd.
