World of Outlaws Coming Back to Pevely for Two Races in August

(Pevely) The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and partner tracks have worked closely with state and local agencies to bring some summer sizzle to the schedule by adding events across ten different states to every weekend, eventually rejoining the originally scheduled fall races.

These added races include the August 7th and 8th Ironman Weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely with fully open grandstands.

It will be 8-thousand dollars for the winner of the Friday night, August 7th race and a whopping 20-thousand for the winner of the Saturday the 8th race.

Driver Daryn Pittman is currently 6th in points with 8 top 5 finishes and 17 top 10 finishes out of 24 races so far this season.

He says some of these race tracks are very taxing on the drivers.

The World of Outlaws raced at the Pevely track in May with Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson winning a couple of thrillers.

Pittman finished those two races 13th and 11th respectively.

All World of Outlaw races will be broadcast on DIRTVision to Fast Pass subscribers.
