Wren Blount Joins Doubles Partner On Boys Tennis Dream Team

(Ironton) The tennis teams at Arcadia Valley High School had a great 2022-23 season. After Alyssa Glanzer and Elena Lara made the Dream Team in the fall, junior Wren Blount and senior Noah Silvy made the Boys Tennis Dream Team in the spring. Blount was happy to get the news of making the Dream Team from his doubles partner.

Blount and Silvy made it to the state doubles tournament in Springfield. Blount says there was a lot of support from the community during their post-season run.

Blount tells us about a memorable match from this season.

Blount says tennis has always been in the family.

Blount wanted to thank some folks for their support.

Blount went 15-5 in doubles, winning the district and sectional crown with Silvy. In singles, Blount was 6-4.
