XFL Suspends Operations with No Plans to Return in 2021

(St. Louis, Mo.) The XFL announced Friday afternoon that they are suspending operations and laying off nearly all of its staff.
Additionally, the league has said that it currently has no plans to return in 2021.
Over the five weeks of the 2020 season, the XFL averaged 18,125 fans in attendance at each game.
The St. Louis Battlehawks far and away led the league in attendance at home games with an average of 28,540 fans attending the two games played at The Dome.
