YMCA Continuing to Take all Safety Precautions During COVID-19 Pandemic

(Festus) While its doors are back open to the public, the Jefferson County Family YMCA in Festus continues to take all the safety measures necessary to ensure that all visitors are met with a clean facility and safe environment in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Y, which had to close for a couple of months earlier this year, has been back open to members with restrictions since May 11th.

Samantha Roberson is the Membership Director at the YMCA. She provides an update on daily operations at the Y.

The Y has implemented a new electronic reservation system, which has become quite popular with Y members.

Roberson explains how the reservation system works.

The YMCA is currently operating under summer hours which is Monday through Friday from 5am until 8pm, Saturday from 8am until 4pm, and Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
