Young Man from Fredericktown Competing in Sikeston Rodeo This Weekend

(Sikeston) The Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo begins Wednesday night and it will continue through Saturday night.

You will have a chance to see a Madison County man compete in the team roping event on Friday night.

You may have seen Kolby Krieger a few years ago competing in the Fredericktown Lions Club Rodeo.

Kolby can’t wait to compete in front of his family and friends this weekend in Sikeston.

About a year ago, Krieger was at a crossroads in his rodeo career.

Krieger did get back on track and in fact, last weekend, he and his teammate took 2nd place in the Carson Community Rodeo in Iowa.

The 22-year-old from Fredericktown will compete in team roping Friday night as part of the Sikeston J.C. Bootheel Rodeo.

J-98 will broadcast Wednesday morning from the Sikeston Rodeo Arena.
