Young Valley Baseball Team Starts Season 6-1
(CALEDONIA) The Valley Vikings baseball team is off to a blazing hot start. They’re 6-1, and many of the wins have not been close. Vikings manager Trent Hartley says the team is young and talented.

The Vikings went 3-0 in the Bismarck Invitational, defeating both Kingston and Steelville by eleven runs. They then knocked off Bismarck 14-5. The offensive numbers are great, but Hartley says his deep pitching rotation is a big factor in the team’s success.

Valley’s game against Valle Catholic on Thursday afternoon was cancelled. Their next game is Tuesday evening, when they’ll host the Kingston Cougars. We’ll broadcast that game on AM-800 KREI.
