(Dillard) Young hunters will get their first opportunity to bag a big buck this weekend.
The early youth deer hunt takes place Saturday and Sunday.
Crawford County Conservation Agent Kyle Clinton wants the youngsters to have fun but to remember this one thing.
Shooting hours for Saturday and Sunday is a half hour before sunrise to a half hour after sunset.
Hunters must be at least 6-years-old and no older than 15.
Last year’s young hunters, in the early youth hunt, harvested over 18-thousand deer.
Missouri’s late season hunt for youngsters runs November 27th through the 29th.
