(Wappapello) Bring the kids to Lake Wappapello Saturday to see some interesting creatures.
Becky Hays with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the lake tells us about this special event.
The Bill Emerson Visitor Center at Lake Wappapello overlooks the dam off ‘T’ Highway in the town of Wappapello in Wayne County.
Lake Wappapello is a man-made resevoir on the St. Francois River, formed by Wappapello Dam.
The lake was created by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1941.
