Central Boys Basketball Defeats Ste. Genevieve in Class 4 Sectionals
(PARK HILLS) The Central Rebels boys basketball advanced to the Class 4 Quarterfinals following their 69-50 win over Ste. Genevieve Tuesday night. The Rebel offense got started early.

The Dragons were able to make a couple of plays in the second half, including a big shot from Alex Basler to end the third.

The effort from the Dragons was not enough to come back, but Ste. Genevieve head coach Rod Gorman was proud of what his team’s improvement late in the season

The Dragons were led in scoring by Alex Basler with 13 points. Jobe Bryant led all scorers with 29. He tells us what hew saw from the Dragon defense.

Central head coach Brad Gross says the win was a big one.

The Rebels are now 22-7 on the season, and will head to St. Louis to face a tough John Burroughs squad on Saturday.
