Herculaneum Softball Bolstered With Crystal City Players

(HERCULANEUM) The Herculaneum softball team this fall will feature players from Crystal City in a new partnership between the two districts to allow Crystal City girls the opportunity to play high school softball. We asked Herculaneum head coach Christal Brackhage how the new arrangement is going.
Brackhage says she has several returning players from last season.
According to Brackhage, the Lady Black Cats pitching staff is shored up by players from other positions.

Representing Crystal City on the Herculaneum coaching staff is John Winkelmann. Brackhage says she is glad to have Winkelmann on board.
Last season, Herculaneum finished with a record of 5-13. The Lady Black Cats open their season on Saturday the 26th at home with a doubleheader against Saxony Lutheran. Games are scheduled at 10am and Noon.
