James “Jim” Unger of Festus died at the age of 64. He was a retired sales representative for Frito-Lay Company in St. Louis; and was a member of the Our Lady Church in Festus.

James Unger is survived by his wife Deborah Unger; daughters Amy Counts of Valles Mines and Ashley Unger of Crystal City; Siblings Dan Unger of Ohio, Paul Unger of Ballwin, Joan Tagoni of Ballwin, Tom Unger of St. Louis, Janice Putney of St. Louis, Karen Murphy of St. Louis, and Barbie Lorenz of St. Louis; sister-in-law Carol Meyer of Festus; numerous nieces and nephews, and a grandson on the way.

Funeral Services for Jim will be held on Friday, November 1st, at 11am at Our Lady Church in Festus.

Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service.

Memorials in his memory are preferred to the Scleroderma Foundation, National Kidney Foundation, or Masses.

Jim gifted his remains through the National Body Donor Program in St. Louis.
